Mark was the best part of our entire house buying process. We met him as the selling agent of a house we were interested in, and while that house unfortunately had an offer already accepted on it, Mark was so knowledgeable and helpful even in the first meeting that we knew we wanted to have him help us through the rest of our house search. Short Version: Mark got me into a great home, at a price below tax appraisal value, in a better location than I expected (he got me looking in places I didn't think about) and was extremely prompt and professional in his communications. Totally recommended. Long Version: Mark gave me a lot of solid advice about where to buy, and helped me get into a neighborhood that I had overlooked in my original search. He knew what would fit me better than I did. In the offer/negotiation, Mark helped me get a price that was below the tax appraisal value for the home. I'm totally satisfied with the deal that I made, especially since most homes in the area sell for well above tax appraisal value. In retrospect, I think we could have been more aggressive with our initial offer - but we got a great deal nonetheless. Along the way, we had a lot of issues with an unreasonable underwriter at my lender, though the rest of the lending team was great. Mark handled the situation extremely well. He went way above and beyond in getting the loan approved. He had also helped get another lender lined up in the case we had an issue. He was always professional, and responded usually within 5-10 minutes via text, unless he was in a meeting in which a got a notification that he was unavailable and would get back to me as soon as he was out - which he always did. Lastly, Mark had a lot of connections and resources which have helped me in my new home: from recommendations of locksmiths to rekey, postal issues, warranties and more. He has continued to be responsive and helpful after the deal was closed and his commission was paid. That shows good character. Mark was easy and professional to work with, and I'll be sure to work with him again in the future.
